The younger children are more anxious and it gives our staff more time to spend with each child on an individual basis in addition to enabling parents to sit with their children while they are seeing the doctor and hygienist.
For children older than six, if parents feel more comfortable sitting with their children, the appointment will be scheduled in the morning hours.
Finally, kids older than six whose parents feel totally comfortable having their children unsupervised (parent not present), we will see them at any time during the day. Because older children attend school, we try to see them in the afternoon. Additionally, with today’s busy schedules, we understand the convenience associated with having concurrent appointments for all children in a family. Every attempt will be made to provide family appointments, however, there will be a fee for less than 72 hours’ notice for cancellation.
To help us maintain an on-time schedule, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient, we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours (72 hours for families) in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient, who needs our care, could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.
